After a Master’s degree in computational linguistics at TALANA (University of Paris 7), dedicated to lexical choice in Machine Translation within the framework of the Meaning Text Theory, I became a quality engineer at LexiQuest before assuming the responsibility of the Linguistic Quality Assurance Department.

After leaving LexiQuest at the end of year 2001, I created LingPro, a Natural Language Processing (NLP)  software Editing company and concluded a technological research and business partnership with Memodata. I also started a PhD research with IDIST/CERSATES (University of  Lille 3). This research is dedicated to the setting of a meta evaluation model based on semantics for NLP software evaluation in general and Machine Translation evaluation in particular.

In March 2002, we created EVALING, a research association dedicated to NLP software evaluation, which I have presided until this date. I also am a member of APIL (NLP professionals association) and member of the board of  ISKO  France (an international research association dedicated to Knowledge Organization).

During year 2003, through LingPro I participated whith the Lille 3 team, to the full setting of the 11th ELSNET Summer School on Language and Speech communication that was dedicated to Computer Assisted Language Learning.

Since January 2003, LingPro has been participating, with the University of Lille 3,  to the scientific coordination of the CESTA Evaluation Campaign (Machine Translation Software Evaluation Campaign) within the framework of the EVALDA evaluation Campaigns. We also coordinate the CESART Campaign. (Terminological Resources Acquisition Systems Evaluation Campaign)

During summer 2003, LingPro joined i-KM, in order to set the alliance of Knowledge Management methodologies and NLP technologies. Moreover, our technological offer has been completed through a partnership with Amoweba for collaborative information watch and expert P2P networks. We also concluded another partnership with Mayetic Village for the setting of company dedicated collaborative workspaces.
