- Pour des Masterclass en anglais :
London, October 25
Brussels, December 4
Storytelling has always been a powerful mechanism for effortlessly spreading
knowledge. In today's corporate environment stories are becoming widely
recognised as a powerful way in which to assess the current values in your
organisation's culture, and to help modify and develop that culture.
Ark Group's Storytelling Masterclass is a one-day interactive masterclass
featuring world-renowned experts Dave Snowden of IBM and Steve Denning.
This cutting edge event will focus on exactly how to use stories to
communicate knowledge and associated learning within your organisation.
Using practical examples and workshop sessions, our masterclass will
illustrate how to use stories to:
1. Mobilise employees and management to implement major changes
2. Implement cultural change
3. Facilitate mergers and acquisitions
4. Identify and build communities
5. Communicate across all cultures contained in global
organisations
The Storytelling Roadshow's last two European events will be in:

In the first morning session, Steve Denning will describe how
storytelling can help introduce and accelerate transformational ideas into
difficult and change resistant environments. Participants will gain a
theoretical understanding of springboard storytelling, including:
- Why storytelling to change organizations works, as well as how to
craft and frame stories that lead to rapid action.
- How storytelling can mobilize large numbers of managers and
employees to implement changes that initially seem difficult,
upsetting and strange.
- How to harness the extraordinary power of storytelling to transform
individuals, organizations, and ourselves.
In the second morning session, participants will learn how to use a
template to create powerful springboard stories, and have an opportunity
to practice performing the stories they have created.
Steve is author of a recently published book, The Springboard: How
Storytelling Ignites Action in Knowledge-Era Organizations (Butterworth
Heinemann).
